Insight Day for Students
We were the first organisation locally to pilot a new approach to work experience offering an insight day.
In July 2024 we hosted 16 students from Year 10 who attend The Commonweal School in Swindon studying Health and Social Care.
The purpose was to give them an insight into what it is like to work for Healthwatch and within the Health and Social Care Sector, with support from the Healthwatch Swindon and Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset Team.
As part of the day they mapped out various approaches and questions we could ask young people about vaccinations in surveys and when we go out to talk to young people.
