Spotlight On GP Access in Swindon

Healthwatch Swindon are inviting you to join an online feedback session, providing you with an opportunity to share your experiences regarding accessing your GP surgery.

On 27th September 2022, Healthwatch Swindon held a Patient Participation Group (PPG) forum to discuss the Enhanced Access (EA) services being offered by the Brunel Health Group. 

The EA's objective was to provide more appointments, helping to offer a greater range of services to the public. This was to be achieved through the introduction of an online video service via LIVI (CQC rating Outstanding) and Saturday morning clinics.

Following on from the EA being launched during Autumn 2022, Healthwatch Swindon are inviting members of the public, voluntary and Health Care services to have their say on Monday 13th March 2023, 12.30pm - 1.30pm via zoom. 

Focusing on 3 core questions:

  1. Has the additional appointments offered, made accessing primary care easier?
  2. Have you found the new LIVI system easy to use?
  3. What are your key concerns when trying to access primary care?
