Royal Voluntary Service - Craft & Gardening Sessions

Royal Voluntary Service (Wiltshire) is excited to announce their new weekly craft and gardening sessions in partnership with Therapeutic Work In Gardening Swindon (TWIGS).

The sessions are aimed at the elderly to enable them to take part in craft and gardening sessions to regain confidence and meet new people.

The power of craft and gardening

They aim to reduce loneliness, social isolation, depression and the risk of dementia through taking part in therapeutic craft and gardening work.

They are fully inclusive and caters for everyone’s physical ability.

They will take place every Wednesday 1.30pm - 3.30pm starting on 14 August at Manor Garden Centre SN2 2QJ.
