People with experience of living with Asperger’s or on the autistic spectrum are invited to a focus group from 12-5 on Wednesday 26 February at Sanford House.
The aim is to focus on the gaps within ASD services in Swindon. We would like to hear what has worked well, what hasn’t worked so well and from their perspective – what is needed to improve ASD services.
It is recognised that there are real gaps in service – from diagnostic to ongoing clinical support/services, contributions to education, health and care (EHC) plans, and there is an opportunity to change what is commissioned locally and regionally if this is felt to be a good idea or to look at finding solutions to local issues.
