Flu Vaccination
The flu virus kills almost 11,000 people and hospitalises tens of thousands more in England in an average year. It’s more important than ever to get your flu jab this year.
This year you can get your flu vaccine from your GP or from a pharmacy if:
- you are 50 and over (including if you are 50 by 31 March 2022)
- you have certain medical conditions
- you are pregnant
- you are a frontline adult social care worker who cannot get a vaccination from your employer
The pharmacy will tell you how and when you can book your vaccination. A full list of pharmacies that are offering this service can be found on at Find a pharmacy that offers the NHS flu vaccine - NHS (www.nhs.uk)
