The CCG will be hosting a public meeting on Tuesday 18 February in which people will be able to find out more about the upcoming withdrawal of the Walk-in Centre.
The meeting will be an opportunity to hear future plans for on-the-day healthcare in Swindon and to ask questions directly to members of the CCG’s Executive Leadership team.
The Walk-in Centre, which is based on the ground floor of the larger Swindon NHS Health Centre, is set to be taken out of service on Wednesday 1 April.
People attending before this date will still be seen by the centre’s team of nurses and paramedics, but will be encouraged to use alternative healthcare options in future.
The closure of the Walk-in Centre will not have an impact on any of the other services in the building, all of which will continue as normal.
